🎄 Highlands UMC Christmas Eve Service

Children-Centered Christmas Eve Services 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.
Interactive, child-friendly worship with a sock-puppet nativity, glow sticks, and Dwayne the Donkey;
wiggle-friendly and livestreamed.
Traditional Candlelight Christmas Eve Services with Communion: 6:00 p.m. & 8:00 p.m.
Beautiful music, open-table communion with hypo-allergenic bread, and the warmth of candlelight;
accessible and livestreamed.
On this holy night, we share in Communion as a sign of God’s love made flesh among us. In the United Methodist Church, we practice an open table—everyone seeking the presence of Christ is joyfully invited, regardless of background, age, or membership.

We serve grape juice and Hypo-Allergenic Communion Flatbread to ensure that all may receive fully and safely.
Our bread is free of gluten, dairy, egg, soy, and nuts, honoring our call to “all partake of the one loaf” (1 Cor. 10:17).
If receiving communion is meaningful for you, you are welcome. If you choose not to receive, you are still held in
the peace and hope of this night.

**All Christmas Eve Services End with “Silent Night”**
A shared moment of candlelight—real candles or LEDs—as we welcome Christ with this beloved hymn.
