Highlands Holiday Camps
We’re excited to share that Highlands UMC’s popular Camp program is growing!
This year, we’re offering Thanksgiving and Winter Break Camps for children to enjoy creative play, community, and fun during school holidays.
Each camp day includes games, crafts, music, and movement led by experienced staff in a welcoming and inclusive environment—all while nurturing the joy and wonder of childhood.
📅 Camp Details
Location: Highlands UMC Fellowship Hall (3131 Osceola Street)
Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Ages: 5–9 years old (must be at least 5 at the time of camp)
Cost: $30 per day — no refunds
Registration: Each camper must have their own pre-registration form. Spots are confirmed only after both the form and payment are received (registration is by the day).
Meals: Snacks are provided. Campers should bring a bagged lunch and a refillable water bottle each day.
Note: Campers may walk with staff to nearby parks for lunch and outdoor activities.

🌟 New This Year: Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program
As our program grows, so do the opportunities for older kids!
Campers age 10 and up are invited to join our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program—an exciting next step for those who love camp and want to take on more responsibility.
Under the guidance of the Camp Director, CITs help lead games, crafts, snack prep, and cleanup while serving as positive role models for younger campers. Each day, CITs can choose to act as:

a CIT, assisting and leading alongside staff, or
-
a Camper, joining in all the fun and activities
This flexible, hands-on learning experience helps students build confidence, leadership, and teamwork—all while staying connected to the joy of camp life.
