A community celebration of God’s love, open to all, we welcome all into baptism as a celebration of God’s grace in the presence of community.
Baptism is a visible sign of God’s grace and love for each of us. Baptism does not mark the beginning of God’s love and acceptance, rather, it outwardly confirms the love God already offers – through Christ’s life, teachings, and resurrection, God offers new life to us all.
We welcome people of all ages into the sacrament of baptism.
At Highlands UMC, we recognize baptism as a welcoming into the universal fellowship of the Church. Therefore, we offer baptism to all who wish to celebrate to new life in God’s love, regardless of membership or attendance history.

Baptisms continue while we worship remotely

If you have additional questions or would like to set up a baptism for yourself or a loved one. It’s as easy to begin as picking a date!
Before the baptism, Pastor Brad will meet with you via Zoom. You will confirm a date, walk through the baptism liturgy, and discuss the questions that you’ll answer aloud during the baptism. You’ll also have a chance to ask questions you have about the service or about what baptism means to us.
