Ash Wednesday Service 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM in the Sanctuary

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent—a season of honesty, return, and longing for wholeness.

This brief, 30-minute service offers a quiet pause in the middle of the day to tell the truth about what we are carrying and to remember who we are.

Through prayer, scripture, silence, and the imposition of ashes, we will acknowledge our mortality, our limits, and our deep need for God’s grace. Ashes are offered as a sign of both our fragility and our belonging—to God and to one another.

This service is simple, spacious, and open to all. Come as you are, whether you are stepping away from work, school, or the pace of the day. You are welcome to receive ashes or to remain in prayer without them.
