Children's Ministry

Children's Church on Sunday Morning

All children are welcome to join us on Sunday morning to learn about the life of Jesus. The children begin worship in the sanctuary with their family. After Children's Time, the children leave for Children's Church or may remain with their family. Children will have an opportunity to participate in music, drama, puppets, and crafts. We will work on several projects for presentation in our our 10:00 worship service! Childcare is available for children under 3 years. All children are welcome!

Sunday School

During the summer, we do not have a separate Sunday School time. Children are welcome to come with their families to worship at 10:00 a.m. and take part in Children's Church following Children's Time in the service.

Vacation Bible School

This year's VBS will take place July 15-17, 2010 (Thursday & Friday evenings, Saturday morning). Our theme is "Galactic Blast: A Cosmic Adventure Praising God!" Children age 3-12 are invited to join us for music, crafts, games, Bible stories, and more! To cover the cost of materials, we ask for a donation of $10 for one child, $5 per sibling or a maximum of $20 per family. Please call the office at 303-477-5857 to learn more or to register.

Brandon Cauthon is our Director of Children's Ministry

Brandon comes to us with more than five years' experience working with children, having served as Assistant Director for the Before and After School Program in the Cherry Creek School District, Assistant Day Camp Director with the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver, and Children's Church Leader with a Korean-American congregation. Brandon's full-time job is as a flight attendant with United Airlines, and he is working on a degree in Human Services at Metro State. We welcome Brandon to our congregation and look forward to the many gifts he will share with us in teaching our children.
